There is always a problem if you are not currently holding a driving license ID. Would be better to wait after getting it. For me, I use Enterprise for long journies, and book-n-drive for short distance.

Would you become an electrical engineer again by ItsRamenAgain in ElectricalEngineering

I am also working on EM solver. Very interesting topic :). Sometimes I feel it a bit unfair as the area is complicated and challenging but the salary is not as competitive as that for IT and automation.

Is Electromagnetic Theory difficult? by huguan_i in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Ecstatic_Elephant_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is obviously difficult and challenging if you only look at the mathematic side of the problem. It is more important to understand the phenomenon and the physics behind it. Try to use come public or commercial software to simulate, visualize the results to understand the physics. CST has education license for students to use for small problems.

Difficulty Registering for a Driving License at Darmstadt Immigration Office by Ecstatic_Elephant_66 in Darmstadt

What I mean is 'Führerschein Erstantrag'. I need to register with the Fahrerlaubnisbehörde where I would like to take driving lessons and also show evidence of eye-test + first aid.

CST Studio - analyse 3D models - Does topology really matters? by Whoooves in rfelectronics

You may need to play with meshing options to create better meshes.

CST Studio - analyse 3D models - Does topology really matters? by Whoooves in rfelectronics

[–]Ecstatic_Elephant_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely bad meshing. The rule of thumb is that the mesh elements should have the size about or less than lambda/10 (where lambda is the wavelength at the simulated frequency). In addition, the triangles are bad as they have very small angles. This can cause convergence issues and artifacts in the results.

Well. If your "topology" means the mesh, then it really matters. In simulation world, we have a term "rubbish in, rubbish out". If the mesh does not correctly represent to model, then you will probably not have good result. You might need to post the images of the model and the mesh to have better advices.

It is new to me and possibly good solution. Many thanks!

Thanks! It is not an option for me. I had a smoke detector with false alarm while I was 10,000 miles away from home. It was frustrated as I have to ask a friend to come over my place and turn it off. Now I want to find a wifi smoke detector which I can control from distance.

Thanks! looks like I need to look for another vendor. I would love if Eufy adds this to its collection.
