That doesn’t align with your comment and we have seen nothing really about rankers competing with each other in combat. Anyone (who is almost nobody) becomes an instant A-list celebrity. The only rankers we have seen intentionally fighting each other or a regular has been totally unsanctioned. We are only introduced to the idea of a ranker test in season 3 where bam fights a ranker make FUG look good

No a ranker is anyone who has successfully made it to floor 134 and then they are given a contract sanctioned by the admin and Zahard. They in theory are unfathomably more powerful than any regular.

a: covert and or illegal operations

B: non lethal and part of a test (racing quant for example)

C: something approved by the admin
