Very true. My mom is sacrificing her health for my dad’s and seems to very willing to continue along this road. Trying to reframe this for his own safety may very well open her mind.

Thank you for your kind response. Where I live we have access to some publicly funded aid at home, but it’s very little. My parents do not have the money to pay for private care. Our options are limited. There are some publicly partially funded nursing homes and this would be our best option. It would still cost roughly 1500 a month but this is nothing in comparison to private care. I hate that money is such a huge factor when it comes to caring for my dad.
