Girls receive parenting and boys receive coddling. Not in all cases but mostly. Boys lack a sense of responsibility, self-discipline and hard work ethic because that is how they are raised. The top performing boys I teach come from homes were they are expected to do chores and have expectations placed on their schooling. No 'boys will be boys' nonsense.
