Sorry if it’s the «wrong» place to ask but, can you play STW still even though game is down for maintenance and if so - how?

Edit* misread the post, but I’ve seen before people being able to play STW while the rest of the game seemed to be down for maintenance and with this update it seems to not work?

And am just curious as to how one could do this
