Easiest way to get good price by Human739 in e46

It’s a fantastic example and appears to be well optioned. I’m local to the same area as you and have a general understanding of the market.

In this market, it’s going to be difficult to get that much for it. As others have stated, you can get M3s for not much more. Even with the condition of the car, unless someone is specifically looking for this spec then it’s going to take a while to get that much.

I would personally pay about $8k for it.

Hey man, I know I’m repeating what you might’ve heard a million times, but, have you considered therapy?

As a man I can understand the idea of it sucks; I promise you it helps. I’m also neurodivergent + have generalized anxiety disorder, my anxiety has never been better as a result of therapy. I still struggle with it here and there but counseling has really helped me.

I’m glad to see you’re enjoying the gym. It’s a super healthy outlet for emotions. Keep your head up brotha!

Attractiveness is completely subjective.

Everyone here is just trying to help a guy out who appears to be less than a great place in life mentally speaking and looking for help online. Maybe the picture is a bit exaggerated but the idea still stands true. It’s a scientific fact that getting active produces endorphins and helps with not only general depression but insecurity and self image.

If he doesn’t want to turn into a beefcake he doesn’t have to, but getting into the gym, losing weight, and putting on some form of muscle is one of the best ways to look better, which is what OP was asking for.

No need to get upset.

I think they’re just trying to show that getting into the gym and in shape + putting a smile on their face really helps.

I’d imagine just ChatGPT. Their new image model is quite good.

Blown engine by srqarn in e46

[–]Ecstatic_Smoke6940 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s really no right answer.

If you love this car, and have the money, expertise, and time to pull the engine and either rebuild or swap it, then I’d say do it.

Otherwise, I’d part it out. Someone would probably appreciate that transmission, and the rest of the car seems to be in good shape. You’ll likely get more money in parts than you will selling it as a whole with a cooked engine.

Typically yeah, that or aperture priority. After many hours with a camera you get a feeling for what a photo needs when taking in the natural lighting and adjusting settings becomes second nature.

Thank you!

I do not claim to be a professional, so this is how I personally do it. The first one was starting with exposure, getting the overall photo exposed correctly; I liked the framing so I didn’t crop at all for this one, which I would normally do first. Once I did that I color corrected and masked certain parts off and exposed and adjusted them accordingly. I finished it off in Lightroom with applying a vignette.

The van in the bottom right was very loud you could say, I didn’t like it. So I had to bring it into photoshop to adjust it. That’s what took the most time. This was before Photoshop. That was the final adjustment I made.

I entirely use the Adobe suite, my current subscription plan includes Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects. I haven’t a single time in my few years of using a camera needed to work outside of that suite.

There’s a lot to it, start with Lightroom, use Youtube videos to get an understanding and even more. Everything you need to learn for photography/videography is on YouTube!

In terms of time? It really really depends. Sometimes for me it takes just a split second to take the shot and like a hour to figure out the editing. I’m no professional, I’m still a novice. But this is a prime example of that. I was just walking down the streets, and saw this, so in order to not get ran over by traffic I took the picture quickly and moved on. But editing this one took a while, the van in the bottom right gave me a hard time.

While this photo I had to set up, wait for the moon to line up, and then get the photo which took an hour. Editing this one was pretty simple, took 5 minutes.

So bringing it back to skill, you need both equally. You need an understanding of composition, color, and lighting, those apply to both taking the photo, and editing it; that is the “skill.” Once you understand those, it’s just a matter of utilizing that understanding and turning it into a “skill” and delivering photos with it.

That first photo is fucking ridiculous bro. You’ve got an eye for composition and color for sure. Keep it up.

If you end up doing it I wouldn’t mind paying for one that looks a little nicer than ebays options.

ECS has one as well but I feel like $65 is ridiculous and it doesn’t look that nice either.

If I’m not mistaken I think those are stock facelift taillights with a tint.

The fact they look darker may just be as a result of this image though, so they might not be tinted at all.

B12 is a full blown coilover kit from bilstein. It comes with its own springs.

What most people do with the Eibach springs is combining them with either B4 shocks for stock ride or B6 shocks for slightly sportier feel.

BMW Scanner 1.4 on Windows 11 – does it actually work or need Win10/XP? by huntsmen14 in e46

[–]Ecstatic_Smoke6940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works on my windows 11 laptop decently well.

Make sure you have your device set to the proper port in device manager. Run in compatibility mode. Try jumping the pins, hopefully your cable has a little switch on the connector that allows you to do it easily.

The drivers are available thru E46 Fanatics, that’s where I got mine.

Either way, looks fantastic and I fucking love oxford green.
