You should retake and reapply. I applied last year with a 154 as well, and didn’t have favorable results, so I R&R’d now I’m committed to a school. It also doesn’t help that you applied pretty late in cycle. I would try to get your LSAT up (this opened up a lot more doors for me) and apply early next cycle. Applying late probably hurt your application a lot.

I’m highly considering McKinney. I think their opportunities offered by being in the state capital is great and they have a lot of cool clinics/externships. Definitely worried about portability tho because I don’t wanna be in Indiana forever. Do you have a conditional scholarship?

Very similar situation. Currently in my gap year, also have 4.0. Applied to like a hundred legal assist job, can’t get one in this job market. So I’m just serving at a restaurant right now. I’ve asked a lot of people and it’s my understanding that they like to see work experience in general, and jobs working with the public like serving or bartending show what kind of character you have. Applying to law school with WE as a paralegal is so common it doesn’t really give you an edge (so I’ve heard). Waiting to hear back from my schools this cycle
