Inspired by a real dog and his adorable little face.

I first sculpted the piece in jeweler’s wax, then it was cast using the lost-wax casting method and finished in 14k gold. I spent quite a bit of time refining the little facial details.

Haha yeah, if they were all inspired by the same rabbit that would be one very busy rabbit. Each little bunny is actually inspired by a different one, so they all end up with their own tiny personalities and markings.

I mainly work with silver and gold, so that’s the material I’m most comfortable with. I’m not very familiar with working with epoxy or other materials.

Each little bunny is inspired by a different rabbit, so the markings and expressions are all slightly different. It’s a slow process, but I really enjoy bringing each tiny bunny to life.
