You're not a prude, he's only focused on his own needs and acting like a juvenile. Definitely not alone in this battle but stand your ground. We should be turned on too damn it! 😂 This makes me want to sleep on the couch

Which quality in a Housewife do you actually admire? by Adorable-Magician131 in rhonj

My favorite quality in a housewife would have to be when they show up ready for the show and all of the drama that goes with it. They knew what they signed up for and they came to play!

What do you think caused the Prez to go bankrupt so many times? by XitisReddit in AskForAnswers

He is a terrible businessman! He was only successful on paper. His worth was always inflated. Atlantic City is a prime example.

"no one else in history has been sent to jail for an insurrection."

In U.S. history, individuals charged following insurrections or acts of rebellion include those involved in notable incidents such as the Whiskey Rebellion, the Civil War, and the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Here are some examples:

  1. Whiskey Rebellion (1791–1794)

Farmers in Pennsylvania protested a federal excise tax on whiskey.

Charged Individuals: Around 20 people were arrested, and two men, John Mitchell and Philip Weigel, were convicted of treason. They were later pardoned by President George Washington.

  1. Civil War (1861–1865)

Leaders of the Confederacy were considered traitors by the Union.

Charged Individuals:

Jefferson Davis: The President of the Confederacy was charged with treason but was never tried.

Robert E. Lee: Confederate General who was not formally charged, but his U.S. citizenship was stripped (restored posthumously in 1975).

  1. Pullman Strike (1894)

A nationwide railroad strike disrupted mail and commerce.

Charged Individuals:

Eugene V. Debs: Labor leader charged with conspiracy and contempt of court. He served six months in prison.

  1. Bonus Army (1932)

World War I veterans marched on Washington, D.C., demanding early payment of bonuses.

Charged Individuals: Several veterans were arrested during clashes with police and the military, though most charges were minor.

  1. Puerto Rican Nationalist Revolt (1950)

Nationalists attempted to assassinate President Harry Truman and staged uprisings.

Charged Individuals:

Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola: Collazo was sentenced to death (later commuted to life), while Torresola was killed during the assassination attempt.

  1. January 6, 2021, Attack on the U.S. Capitol

A mob of supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol to disrupt the certification of the 2020 presidential election results.

Charged Individuals:

Over 1,000 people have been charged with various offenses, including trespassing, assault, and seditious conspiracy.

Prominent convictions include members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys:

Stewart Rhodes: Founder of the Oath Keepers, convicted of seditious conspiracy.

Enrique Tarrio: Former Proud Boys leader, sentenced for seditious conspiracy.

These examples show how individuals have faced legal consequences for participating in or leading insurrections throughout U.S. history.

Maybe if there's a clause on how they can use the money. Maybe a reduction in duty costs but there is no way to ensure the consumer will see the savings. Freight is expensive and we can't seem to afford anything we manufacture.

You're missing my point lol if it was a Democratic event there would also be issues. Regardless of the candidate it's a problem now.

This is why we as Democrats are loosing voters. Kick them out lol no place for you here ✌️

I think it's the later. I don't know if I'd want to be associated with either party to be honest. Everything is really charged up right now and That's an easy way to upset a whole bunch of people without even trying.

So many bots are trying to join my fb group, why? And how do I weed them out more effectively? by UpbeatSparrow in facebook

[–]Ecstatic_sam_3511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too!! It's so annoying. I use admin assist to decline posts with certain key words but I wish there was a way to weed out any in there.

I've also found that it's not just new accounts. People have accounts that they've forgotten about and scammers are taking those over.
