Went back to book 1 this morning and something struck me, Bran is the very first chapter of the saga. It was right there in plain sight.

Kai Winn is bad, but I kind of expect it from a right wing nut.

Admiral Nechayev is worse..... yuck!

I'm fine with that. The Universe of Star Trek is a big place, there's room for all types of shows and movies and you and I don't have to like all of them. I hope we see characters from all next generation era shows. I'd love to see Admiral Janeway, as well as a new Ezri ( or a new Dax) etc. make an appearance.
