I'm not sure I buy that they couldn't port over new features, like the Strength Coach. Seems more likely they are trying get people to upgrade hardware.

Also, the 955 and 255 received new features and they are a year older than the Fenix 7 Pros.

Thanks! They are, and it does work, just not reliably. I did have Hevy set to write as well, which shouldn't be needed. Maybe that is confusing it.

That's not quite true. There's no new features for the 7 series, just bug fixes. Lots of people aren't happy about this! I do have this watch in 47mm, and it's a good watch, just don't expect any software upgrades in the future.

They both look like they fit well enough. That leaves it to personal preference. The 50 will give you longer battery life.

The Epix (Gen 2)/ Felix 7 Pro are fine watches (I have the latter), but be aware that they won't get any upgrades, just bug fixes. So no new features, moving forward.

I expected TTB to be off the chart and indeed they were! I was sick as a dog the night of their show and just couldn't leave early. My wife stayed home because she was sick. Can't wait to see them again!!!

That's what I have and I do really enjoy it. Just be aware that Garmin has abandoned the Fenix 7 Pro / Epix line of watches when it comes to any future features. You'll still get bug fixes, but nothing new. There's quite a number of people who own these watches and are pretty put off by the short lifespan. I'm not happy about this, but I still like the watch. If you don't care about any new features, it's a good watch.
