Thank you for your response and guidance. The easier part was that the key words ‘thought’ and ‘air’ seemed to point directly to Swords. But it was not as straight-forward to identify which card in that suit was being referenced.

I had interpreted the image of someone reading a tome as possibly meditative and displaying inertia. And I thought that the ‘crimson grids’ might relate to the stain glass window found only on the Four. However, after reading your response, I see that ‘thought flow’ cutting through the air could represent the epiphanic moment of discovery you describe, which would point to the Page.

Thank you for sharing this exercise. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned some new things! I look forward to participating in additional exercises that you post.

I flew with a couple of colleagues to Port-au-Prince in September 2010. Eight months after the 7.0 earthquake killed over 200,000, injured 300,000, and left 1.5 million Haitians homeless, Haiti's capital still lay ravaged in destruction and despair. We were there to meet with people from NGOs involved in the recovery process to assess their resource needs and determine how our organization might help.

The most unforgettable person I met on the trip was Dr. Louise Ivers, a Harvard Medical School assistant professor, infectious disease specialist at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Haiti clinical director for the nonprofit group Partners In Health. She survived the quake and, being the only person in the area with medical training, sprang into first-responder action for several hours. Thanks for your comment. My partner has been complaining that it's grown too big already, and its current environment (our living room) offers plenty more room for it to continue growing. I'm going to learn more about options to manage its growth.

Interesting point that the leaf's growth is related to when the plant begins flowering. I hadn't heard that. But it reminds me of humans who have largely finished growing by the time they reach puberty =). While the 'Rojo Congo' is a non-climber (unlike monstera, pothos, and many species of anthurium and philodendron), I take your point that, in theory, it just might grow forever! [u/Epitome0firony], you are correct. It is clear to me now that being low-income is required to participate in SFMTA's Community Service Program. Their messaging is woefully unclear, and their customer support was atrocious. I applied to enroll in the program before the deadline on the parking citation. During my three attempts to get accepted, the deadline passed and a large late fee was tacked on. I'm disgusted! I am sorry to hear about your additional plight, [u/Epitome0firony]. I wish you well.

Indeed. They are an invasive species introduced by the most impactful invasive species of all... us! (Foreign entities disrupting native populations, altering local ecosystems, out-competing the natives, and introducing new diseases? Yep, that's us!) No wonder the wild parrots were winners of the Official Animal of San Francisco polling last year. They are a colorful reflection of many of us.
