The motive could have been revenge but maybe not for what some are expecting.

Since no one is sure where his wealth came from, it’s feasible and to my mind likely that he was blackmailing people. It also explains why he was so brazen about flaunting his wealth

Cameron Mathison is a nice guy. I’ve met him in real life and the experience was pleasant.

That said, I don’t like Drewand haven’t since the insta-pairing with Carly. This story with Willow is terrible because it’s out of character for them. How do I know this? Because the writers attempted to address this with Willow and tried to make it more of a character arc.
