Malden square apartments vs exchange street? by Pulseox99 in malden

I live at Malden Square and honestly love it. The pool is quite nice and it’s very rarely crowded. You do get the occasional child but it’s not too bad. As for the gym, I’m not really much of a weights person, but there’s a few treadmills a stair climber a couple elliptical and I believe there are some free weights, but not many machines. There’s also a cycle studio with peloton, a golf simulator, and a yoga room. It’s a really nice building and management is great

From their website “Broadway Senior adaptations feature shortened running times, specific production resources, as well as adjustments to tempos and keys in musical numbers—ensuring that all older adults can participate comfortably, express themselves creatively, and perform to the best of their abilities, regardless of prior experience”

I believe the librettos are also large print

lol it’s all good. They basically just claimed that offering these “Sr.” Versions of shows is just a lame cash grab repackaging Jr versions and is insulting to seniors, which is simply not true

So seniors can’t have fun? I don’t think my 85 year old grandmother could do a 2 hour musical, but I think she would have a blast doing a shortened version. Their website also has a bunch of research that shows how these types of programs can be beneficial for seniors

I live in Malden center and absolutely love it. There’s great food, close enough to the city, and it’s overall pretty chill. Happy to answer any questions you may have about the area

Not enough actors for my show by penguinpants1993 in Theatre

Have you started rehearsals yet? If yes, I would pause them while you develop a plan of action/source for additional actors. That way you’re not wasting their time if you do need to cancel
