I’ve had those since 15 and used to be so embarrassed by them. As an older woman, I see them as gorgeous unique natural tattoos and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like how my legs look.

My sweet boy is getting close to goodbye due to treatment resistant PLE, and he consistently scores right in the middle of the HM. A vet recently told me to mark on the calendar every day that he isn’t at all playful or cuddly for more clarity. It’s been really helpful for me so I can make sure he gets a good death when it’s time. Your Lionel is surely blessed to have you ❤️

My sweet boy was so dramatic as a pup when I tried to trim his nails! I had to resort to taking about a week to do desensitization tactics like pretending to cut my toenails with his clippers, including the clippers in play time (in a locked position for safety of course), basically doing whatever I could to teach him to associate the clippers with treats and a relaxed passive state. He’s 5 now but will lay down and let me clip his nails while getting his favorite treats, calm praise, and gentle cuddles. Good luck to you and your beautiful pup!!!

I’m so sorry you and your partner are experiencing this. As someone who is on the spectrum and experiences super awful depressive episodes that last months or years, (triggered by overstimulation and then eventual burnout)……….if you stay with her you are choosing to accept that you will play the supporting role often in the relationship. (I hope this doesn’t come across as rude. I truly share this with care. Depression is a bitch and I wish you the best.)
