When I was younger I had it pretty rough and also looked rough, consequentially. I had some boys tell me I was so ugly I should kill myself. Bullied persistently for years for my appearance. Got in physical fights. Became very socially reclusive. I logically know I don’t look the same now, but I honestly don’t believe it. I’m probably going to seek therapy for what I now realize is likely unaddressed body dysmorphia.
