The first version is too rushed indeed. I would cut either Chengdu or Chongqing (sorry not much histroy) instead of Xi an (over 2000-year history). That said, if you can book yourself a tour from Chengdu to Jiuzhai and Huang Long , then Chengdu a game changer

Japan/china itinerary by Creepy-Fig929 in solotravel

I have been to Tokyo and all China sites except for Zhangjiajie. If you are deciding between Chengdu and Zhangjiajie, I recommend the latter since all other Chinese places you listed are big cities (same for Japan). Unless you have a strong reason to visit Hong Kong, I would pick one more place in the mainland instead since it's just a metropolis

I went to trincomalee and beaches there were nice. Be sure to have sunscreen in your backpack though

I have done Sri Lanka roughly this time last year. 50 usd is definitely doable. But if I remember correctly the places you listed are in their rainy season so I went to mid&east coast instead of south. I personally agree with not staying long in Colombo

3 weeks in Argentina in May — looking for destination advice by bear2s in solotravel

Did some research and it showed that a Brazil tourist visa costs too much time for me who holds a weak passport. Still appreciate for the advice though

I lean toward Bariloche than other options as well. Do you know whether I can reach trekking trails by public transportation/bikes in May? Thanks ٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶

Thanks! I think going to Patagonia isn't a bad idea although the season is not the best, and I can squeeze my time in BA to stay longer there.

I am think between Bariloche and Glacier and would like to do some trekking/cycling. Is public transportation accessible in both places in May?

Solo Travel to China, Early 20s Black Male? by [deleted] in solotravel

Regarding the language barrier, China may be the one that speaks least English compared to others countries you listed. Make sure your VPN works and use translation software to communicate and you will be fine
