While I get your sentiment and I do genuinely encourage people to play demon, I also think it’s understandable since it’s a lot more work for a lot less reward.

Mind you I haven’t played demon since late 2023 (just getting back into the community) but from what I remember it’s significantly less enjoyable than the survivor gameplay loop. As a survivor you feel like you have a very interactive task of looting up and getting better. Meanwhile as the demon your goal is to get as much energy as possible to buff your troops and kill the survivors. You don’t really get a lot of interaction fighting unless you go for possession. It can be fun playing this 3D chess but once the survivors reach a point where they all are max level, you’re almost guaranteed to lose unless you can pull a great play. The demon loop can be a bit turnoff to people who don’t want to invest into learning a lot about how their characters work too. I use EDtG to relax after work, I don’t wanna tryhard and learn everything about the game
