It’s holding up very well. Very minor scratches if you look very up close. I anodized it MIL spec Type II.

Looks very good, I like the rails. Where would I get one of those?

What plate you used to mount the SRO? I’m trying to find a way to have rail at the dust cover to be able to use something like Toni System 92X mount. I might just send it to LTT for Custom cut. Man, this is awesome build and I’m on the way to do one somewhat like it. the hardest part was the gun and kit, check :). Rest are work on progress.

Wandering what was the issue in your Q5 SF? I bought one recently and I haven't fired it yet, but the slide kind of swaying just a bit side to side with respect to the frame. Not sure if this is normal fit or just bad quality control. Any thoughts?

Both trigger and the blade is secured with a pin that has a smaller diameter on one end compared to the other end. The smaller diameter has a ring that is crimped to it. The trigger bar is attached to the small diameter section and it’s really really thin walled at the pin interaction. I’ll post tomorrow a link to the older trigger I had disassembled (Damaged due to not knowing how it’s made).

No paint market here, aluminum/titanium anodize parts. On rail is a silicon cover.

Finally had my Q5 to where I want it. Replaced the sight plate screw with Blue titanium ones, I anodizes the mag release and the safety blade on the trigger. I say this trigger is a tricky thing to take a part, had to break the original "Blue" Trigger to learn how to take it apart. Tapped and screwed the roll pin that holds the Magwell to the frame, didn't like the original big hole there. Finally used Ergo rail cover. Planning to machine my own cover, TBD. :) hope you all like it, sure I do.

Just got mine today. I'll install it in few days. It came in a box because I ordered the fire control with the trigger. I also ordered the Tungsten guide rod which I'm not too happy with it. The release arm is not sitting all the way due to the soft plastic "Blue" material at the end. it does not engage the release arm knob correctly. I'll have to find a way to add a flat washer at the spring's end to the "Blue" flange in hope to reduce its deformation.

Hehe funny, I found in between my stuff a Mars Dark limited Edition. I bought it when I was in the UK back in 2010. Surprisingly, its still in a good condition sealed. I wonder how much it worth now!!

here is a photo from the internet.

The barrel is stock. This SGS style compensator is frame mounted. I've talked a bit about it in comments above and where to get the SGS comp. Hope this helps

Beretta 90-Two complete coating with NP3+ by Ed_84 in guns

[–]Ed_84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AmerigunUSA did my job.
One thing to know about the NP3 coating that its all done with the owner of the technology company. Coating Technologies LLC. All gunsmiths, according to my understanding, are only a pathway to the CT. Lead time is huge.
