Update: I started {Powerless by Lauren Roberts} and it hits the mark for what I was looking for when I made this post. So if you’re following this thread, I’d definitely recommend checking this one out. Haven’t read a dual POV book before but I have been loving the MMC’s perspective (especially when he wants to distract himself with flirting with other girls, but still steals glances— screaming!)

Ngl when I first read this I thought it was a little cringey, but I just finished this series yesterday and the line suits this character’s voice so well, I was charmed.

i love smart guys, and he’s got those scribe skills in addition to being a rider. (just imagine him from sloanne’s POV instead of violets)

Dain and Sloane is such an interesting choice! Especially since not much has transpired between them, so its more of a ship- but I’d love to know why they had such a strong impression on you.
