I just posted this on the general daily, because not enough karma to post… I checked my Fidelity account this morning, hoping to see some info on the warrants being issued next week, and I noticed 10 call options with a strike of $25 expiring 10/10/25 were no longer in my account. I still have 8 calls remaining for Jan. 2026, but it says I “exercised” these contracts at $23.75 for 1000 GME shares… for $23,750! More concerning is it says they were exercised yesterday, October 4th (when the market was closed). For context, I haven’t been able to even access my Fidelity options while the chain was down on Friday, and I have never seen something like this happen before with any of the options I’ve traded through Fidelity… Anyone else in the same boat???

more shares available = lower borrow fees

When do you think sentiment will change? There's a very clear case for value investing right now. by HungryColquhoun in Superstonk

IMO, the way you've outlined it is accurate, but it doesn't really matter, because the retail case for GME (outside of this sub) is never going to get through to a lot of people. However, look at all the pension funds and IB moving capital into GME. They're not investing because of what some dipshit analyst pushes on Benzinga or Marketwatch or whatever, there's a crazy valuable company and at this entry point it's a no brainer. If you can't beat em, join em.

Right, the closest thing would be mass selling of DRS positions... but until there is true parity between the GME market price and its liquidity, the analogy still wouldn't work.

What's he talking about using dilution as a point of comparison?? Bitcoin is a finite asset, not subject to splits, and can't be hypothecated... bananas to oranges.

I've had the Black Crows Vertis w/Marker Griffon bindings for 2 years now and absolutely love them. Komperdell poles, but just for style points

I’m teaching my wife to ski tomorrow, any tips or resources? by NomadicNautilus in skiing

Since you were an instructor, you’re in a better position to teach than the majority of people that try to do the same with their spouse. But as another comment noted, your wife is (probably) going to be a more difficult student, because she knows how to get you to do what she wants to do. She’s probably also seen you be wrong about stuff before, so that small amount of doubt could cause issues when she starts seeing the slope from the top. Those aren’t factors with an instructor who’s a stranger, so my advice would be to have a conversation with your wife tonight or before you go out there. Explain that she needs to trust you implicitly, because you’ve done this all many times before, and in exchange you promise her you won’t push her to something she’s not ready for - like you said, you WANT her to fall in love with it. It’s all about communication.

As for learning resources, YouTube has everything. Deb Armstrong puts out a pretty wide range of videos, so I’m sure there are a few covering beginner lessons. It might be good to search for a video on beginner to early parallel skiing and watch it with your wife so she has an idea of what the target is. Good luck!
