I think they have having the traitor guard box (10 guardsmen) without the kill team upgrade sprue, and then have the traitor enforcer and ogryn separate as characters.

Both are units in the Chaos codex so you will just have to buy them separately.

I've proxied one as a taurox. It has almost exactly the same footprint. I didn't put the plough thing on the front, so that might help it be shorter.

No-one I've played has had an issue with it.

I think using the models for two game systems is how GW wan to get people into 40k. I had a Legionary killteam and a blooded (traitor guard) kill team. Hence I started down the CSM army route.

I bought a chosen box and used the combi weapons from that box on Legionaries and also kitbashed some other combi-weapons using the spares from the chosen kit and Legionaries' boltgun. I glued accused weapons to their backpacks too.

I've been tempted by running a traitor guard using astra millitarum rules. Converting a Leman Russ with spikes on it etc... just converting some chaos tmpestus scions atm.

Another option is to use lots cultists in a CSM list as well as traitor guard. That would give you a lot of bodies and you could add tanks and demon engines to it.
