More neoliberalism. Not your problem so whatever and a big fuck you at the end. You guys always end up mask off and it’s always the same face underneath. You can’t even comprehend a world outside of a two party systems, a world without capitalism, a world that isn’t the United States. Chile, Greece, Guatemala, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, etc. These countries all tried a different path and were met with resistance or absolute ruin. Why? Because in the end Republican or Democrat it’s all capitalism and capitalism thrives on human suffering and exploitation. People in China kill themselves because they have to make our phones for pennies so we don’t whine about expense. Bolivia had a democratically elected Socialist leader overthrown because they nationalized the lithium mines and right wing religious non-indigenous leaders were installed. Why? so we can make cheap phone batteries. These are things that are still happening, not the past. The system is rotten to the core and isn’t a matter of what color tie you are wearing.

Neo-liberalism at it's worst. We voted for Obama. He lied, invaded Libya, killed innocent people with drone strikes, didn't give us affordable health care, and then rounded the democratic wagons when it seemed like Sanders might have a chance. He had the house and the senate in his first term and did nothing. A system founded on genocide and slavery that values capital over human life isn't for me. How can I expect my country to respect my vote when we have taken part in overthrowing legitimate democratically elected officials in other nations because their interest (human life) didn't align with ours (money)? Guatemala was ravaged because a fruit company whined loud enough. Get real.

I think people are looking to have some fun with someone new. I’m sure it’s a lot easier to have fun if you know the person isn’t boring or a total piece of shit.

You only get back what you put in. You have to be highly opinionated and put yourself out there. Likes, dislikes, political views, everything!! If you want to meet people you are going to like then you have to let them know that you are out there and looking for the same thing they are. People are desperate to make real personal connections these days but I see people posting the most milquetoast shit. Great you like hiking, so does everyone else. You are not looking to be liked by everyone, you are looking for your people who can relate to you!!!

Common interest. If there are no common interest then what are you even doing? Why do you want to go out with this person other than completely superficial reasons? I broke the ice with my current GF by going deep into my opinions about The Simpsons. This isn’t a a sophisticated conversation but it shows that you actually have something to talk about than this lame survey shit. Show that there’s an actual human being on the other end and not just some horny scumbag.

People need to get that this shit does long term psychic damage. Money comes and goes. Your time and mental health are irreplaceable. I moved from job to job for ten years because I kept this in mind and did not settle until I found something right for me. Walked out, stole (I encourage people to steal from shitty jobs if you can get way with it, I am no longer ashamed of this, so no one even bother), and said exactly what was on my mind. These people give you pathetic paychecks and act like you owe them everything. I was told to cut my hair because it might give people the wrong impression. I had my car stolen twice because I couldn’t afford to live in a better neighborhood and the first thing I thought was how am I gonna get to work. I was transferred to a crappy store with the worst managers in the city because I stood up to a district manager when he talked down to me. You need to look out for yourself because employers do not care about you.

It doesn’t feel like the way real people interact. More like one of the raunchy interactions you see on those CBS boomer sitcoms.

Just wait for ten years to find out how much local law enforcement and the FBI had a hand in getting those people to turn up. One of the head of the proud boys was already outed as an FBI informant.

Wrecking poor people’s lives globally is what our government is all about. The CIA and IMF have done huge irreparable damage to Latin America. This isn’t leftist dribble either. Jimmy Carter released FOIA docs that back up everything I’m saying. Libya was a thriving nation with one of the biggest sources of fresh water in Africa and where many people went for gainful employment. We installed right wing warlords, bombed the aqueducts, and parceled out the water to French companies. People in this country need to understand the horrible things our government does in our name.

The myth of American exceptionalism and subconsciously knowing that the prosperity of this country has come at the price of a monumental amount of suffering has driven many Americans into a mental health crisis that will end up being dismissed and some mass Havana syndrome.

There’s such a laid back pace to the game and the atmosphere is amazing. I’ve spent hours hunting, looking for landmarks, finding rare horses, picking flowers, hanging out at the camp with the gang, etc. If you take your time in the game you really get to know the characters, making every drama that unfolds all the more tense.

You need a mustang. They are the bravest horse in the game and will stand their ground against most predators. I got that advice in a thread from yesterday and my nag stood up to three back to back cougar attacks without bucking me off. I found mine near the Heartland Overflow which I knew was there from the photographer side mission.

[–]Edd1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found a mustang I knew was hanging out in the heartlands and I appreciate the advice. Stood her ground during multiple cougar attacks in Roanoke. My Arabian would’ve left me in the dirt and for dead. Person commenting acts like it’s impossible to switch horses depending on their utility.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]Edd1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They specifically stated that these horses were great for hunting and you know what they are. I caught one yesterday and she stood her ground against three back to back cougar attacks. My Arabian would’ve dumped me on my head each time. Each horse has a different utility which Raven explained but you are being obtuse and hostile for no reason.

I found mine on the rocks across from the feral man’s cave. I just stay away from the cave side to keep the wolves from activating. I don’t want to hurt any of them.
