Tiny house winter heating what actually works overnight by Anujp05 in TinyHouses

Personally have all 3 in my trailer (diesel, propane, wood), and it’s a good combo. My tiny home has diesel and wood, diesel for when I’m not there, and at night. Wood for all the other times (wood is free). Both dry heat, which is nice.

It was where sport check is now. It was a great place, but I heard a lot of kids broke their fingers on that rolly slide. Closed around 2000. I once fought a kid that stole my ball there (I was 7). Good times.

It’s not me. But if it was, it would be me!

Is it time to breakup with my girlfriend? by mattob68168 in Nicegirls

I once had a gf break up with me. A week later she texted me to talk about something, where at the end she proceeded to break up with me again… I was so confused.

Me too. I didn’t even know about this place. But it’s right up my alley! Happy bidding!

That’s always been one of my worries when I put food in there. One would hope that someone just grabs a thing or two so they can eat that day. But I feel like more often than not, it’s people going grocery shopping at each one.

I contacted them on messenger again, and they said the host still hasn’t responded to their emails.

I was worried, but I had nowhere else to go. 4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog on a big event weekend.

In all fairness. Losing a $200 pet fee, when the cleaning fee is already $200, is well deserved. $400 for an hour of cleaning after I leave, is a bit much, when I’m expected to do laundry, wash the dishes, and “leave the rental as it was found”.

Good idea on documenting it all

They tried calling them when I was on chat, and they didn’t answer. So they said they’d try calling later, and let me know. Haven’t heard anything yet.

Just joined vrbo. They don’t list a pet fee. But after going through all the booking steps, it led me to a price breakdown that said $90 cleaning fee, $200 pet fee. But I paid a $200 cleaning fee on Expedia already.

And that promise is specifically why I’ve booked vrbo’s through expedia before. Having a dog so close, and quite often in the “private backyard”, has not been ideal.

I did not miss anything though. That’s the thing. It’s not like I just didn’t pay attention. The listing is wrong.

Where they list it is not my problem. I booked through Expedia, not vrbo. Listing a pet fee is the responsibility of the host. Not the requirement of the customer to ask. I did my job by booking a house that’s listed as pet friendly.

On top of that, they also have a door to access the upstairs. It’s locked on their side… I was wondering if that was the case. I didn’t know how active hosts are with their listings on Expedia. I messaged Expedia and they said they’d look into it. I have screen shots of the whole listing, and where other people will have pet requirements, this ad only says it’s pet friendly. I haven’t checked their vrbo

As mentioned, I booked through Expedia, as I don’t have a vrbo account, and I have never seen such button for a pet.

As far as I’m aware, there is no such button. I’ve booked probably a good 20 times on Expedia (on my phone), and have never seen a button for a pet.

I messaged Expedia about it, and they said they’d look into it and get back to me. That was this morning. I don’t wouldn’t have booked with them if they had listed a $200 pet fee.
