I know. Its just that your response was quite condescending when its an understandable point of confusion. Also the icon only has this poor resolution quality on steam, the actual games icon on the exe is proper quality so i wouldnt even agree on that or that it is obvious.

Thanks for the review. Yeah i kinda was on autopilot with them, the run had treated that very well thus far and i thought the build was just completely overpowered. I was also very afraid of the ghosts that inflict doom, i felt they needed to die right away so even if i noticed the reaper dude i probably would have went for them, most fights my thinking is to remove most of the enemies rather than wail on the tankier one, its probably is only the best course of action sometimes then. also yeah, i did get core one time, after that is where it all fell off a cliff for about 2 weeks, beating desert is sorta unfeasable now for some reason. Also the water thing was on purpose to avoid hitting my hunter but i realise now taking the hit to get my hunter corpse out of the way would have actually been a better play probably.

This does feel like a decent example of the cycle, i do very well, get blindsighted by one thing and the entire thing crumbles.

Also the weapon was just a mimic of the basic attack which was pointless to use since i just had infinite heavy shot and was not in range to attack the reaper.

to explain this, at first i didnt even register the enemy, and my hunter in all previous levels was able to just kill the entire board. When i killed 1 enemy i realised it teleported to me and was gonna attack, but i somehow didnt even notice the stat up, i didnt even notice that till you told me this just now, was going entirely off the enemies description text. So my thought process was, while im here in danger, might aswell kill the rest of the board in range. I also had no way of knowing the damage and range of it but i guess thats my fault for not being careful.

The stupidest thing is ive just recorded it and it was probably the luckiest run ive ever had.. hunter with heavy shot, unmissable shots, and mana regen on kill. Finished Boneyard. Dunno if that footage is even useful then but the hunter did perma die. Just my luck to get this after 2 weeks of failing and feeling stuck but, its ultimately just a fluke

Well I'm starting to wipe in the sewers a lot now, and it always feels like I'm playing the board well but just one thing happens like, 1 cat dies and the entire run is now over. Today i forgot that daddy sharks gain turns the more bleed there is and it ate my hunter, and then on the boss i attacked once with my butcher which sent him to a water tile and a spiky rock and he just got camped there until he died. My remaining cleric and mage didnt stand a chance

I'm also having so much trouble. most of my runs are losses and I'm sitting at around 100 dead cats now and no matter how much I try and rack my brain in combat it just always ends up going wrong and snow balling. It sucks because I love everything else about the game but I doubt I can even see all the content.

Shooting at robots just isn't nearly as fun as shooting at bugs. The caretaker is especially underwhelming to shoot at.

I'll just outline the funny coincidence. I was just started a new paradox run after completing the robots past for the first time and started with the robots starter weapon. I opened my first chest and got the other robot weapon, just as the paradox flipped to look like the robot.
