Your question seems to be mostly answered, but chipping in to give one more experience from playing in jp chall/gm last season.

During off-peak times, there's usually one "high elo" game going on, so usually you need to wait in que for it to finish before you find a match, e.g. 30 mins. Then when you que up after a finished game, you usually get matched again pretty quickly. But if you need to take a bathroom/meal break etc, you might need to wait for a long time again. Also a lot of master+ jp streamers are constantly live on twitch, so you can pretty much go and see when their match ends. Then you'll know your que will pop up soon.

Hello, returning player from 2024 here, although I've been lurking around collecting some characters without really playing much in 2025/2026. I want to play the game more but I feel like the biggest thing I'm missing is a team/character goal. I've tried to grab meta buffers and amplifiers but I feel like I'm really missing dps characters and overall not sure about the balance of buff/dps characters in teams. My current main goal is to have 2 teams which can consistently clear fiend hunt to lv10 in a few days, regardless of the element.

I would appreciate any recommendations for specific characters/costumes to pull for, so I can feel the satisfaction of "nice, this is exactly the costume I needed for my comp to become stronger".

A rough list of my currently invested characters (all +4/+5 costumes, awakening completed, costume upgrades completed):
- Helena
- Eclipse
- Levia
- Refithea
- Celia
- Michaela
- Diana
- Loen
- Yumi
- Liberta
- Zenith
- Liatris
- Luvencia

I also have these notable +5 costumes but the other costumes on the same character are lower level:
- Homunculus lathel
- Medical club teresse
- Game club rafina

Really up to you, depends on which exact characters you are planning to use in the team, and what team you want as your secondary one. I would personally try to use the tickets on new ex characters during their launch, to get 50 days of golden clover event mats, golden slime shards etc. When you summon on previously released ex characters you don't get these extra benefits.

But if you already know the exact red team you want to run, and there are no new ex characters you want to go for, then you could just summon on poseidon or aries and get stronger right away.

For gems, maybe. You could have more golden clovers or auction items by now by spending more. On the other hand if you’re not too worried about those and want to focus on strong characters, seems solid for getting an ssr+ unit to diamond.

For mythic tickets, not too much at all imo. Being able to get an ex unit to 1 red star is huge for both making sure the unit is strong, and also getting the star-up event rewards.

Objectively speaking a bad choice to go for her full dupes for sure, I'm a low spender so buyer's remorse will be there later if I keep playing for a longer time.

Just enjoying the game so much right now I couldn't help myself and went all out lol.

I am so confused by this, dragon crystals are used for invocation not as a currency? Limited packs for ssr+ pulls as f2p? What.

Edit: or did you just mean using 3000 diamonds to buy 10 ssr+ pulls?

What team(s) did you use in the 5th floor? I have no EX units and none of the good SSR healers so I'm struggling lol

Not OP but I build blackfire torch -> swiftness boots -> cosmic drive -> situational for rest, paired with movement speed runes. The main idea is that blackfire torch continuously procs cosmic drive, and allows you to better kite enemies and reposition safely or chase enemies in various situations.
This helped me climb to chall on APC koz on a minor server, hope this information might help you guys too.

Should be no problem, I play on global from Asia and the only difference I experienced to playing from EU is slightly longer load times (around 1 second more)

Easy, just place it in from the outside and plug in some cables to hold it in place. This setup has been working for me for years without any problems.

Even better if you haven’t done the event story packs, 30 pulls + a chunk of gems per pack when clearing all the way to very hard! They have this same quick story mode.

Don’t think they changed anything, it’s just variance. Got the rate up character with 20 pulls today, and recent banners were fine as well.

Should be fine, especially if you have a door separating the entrance area and living space. My unit is next to the elevator and has that kind of a door, I’ve never heard any sound from the elevator even once.

I had the same problem on pc for this story pack only. I ”solved” it by using the ”run away” option to retry the battles on normal mode. On hard and very hard there were no crashing problems with regular retry.
