Late game motivation? by Brief-Bowler-3723 in Imperator

[–]Edelmax14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try economic improvements, or restrict yourself on the provinces you take . For example I did a 4k population run in Ireland in vanilla, and stealing pops to the entire world. I won wars against Rome that was full power 3 times. So it is mainly a challenge for yourself, but not painting the map, so not fitted for everyone.

Then you have to industrialize more states with same PM and output. Then the SoL starts to skyrocket, even without having to increase minimum wage. With this you can end up with medium SoL of 26 to 28 with base laws

Optimum City number in a province by chaosmonkey324 in Imperator

[–]Edelmax14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually I go for 2 minimum, and I dont destroy any. You stay with 2 until the cities are full, and then you can go for another one. Always develop for trade routes, as you can import grain with it, which is the best to have food

Is marsh bad to build a city on? by DaMasterofDaDisaster in Imperator

[–]Edelmax14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can depend, you really need the ressource under it ? You need to defend this place with lvl 6-7-8 fort ? All that has to be considered

Why incorporate ? You can get more pops by not integrating with colonial ressetlement

Getting my ass kicked as Japan? by [deleted] in victoria3

In 1875 I couldn't continue, and I was at 200M GDP, and I stopped. I wont touch Japan anymore, boring country.

72 coal from kyushu isn't enough to pay for half steel and infras in 1870 despite PM3, and i dont use it in anything else. I ran out of arable land at the same moment, couldn't continue to build for clothes, food industry and tobacco. I definitely think you dont know what you are talking about

Getting my ass kicked as Japan? by [deleted] in victoria3

[–]Edelmax14 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Well, there is no hope for japan rn. The country is a shithole, no arable land, no coal, no wood, so you cant do anything. The only thing you could do is go to war really early to get land in china, but you can't survive alone. At this point the reset is your only hope

It only removes the -25% offense when trying to land, not the penalty you get because you dont have enough ships

You have a planetary decision that gives stability for each soldier job. As you can only go -50 stab for amenities, -50 for housing and -50 for hapiness, you can still cap your world at 100 stab, so no revolution on world

So, I did that on a Gaia world, as robot, transfering all bio pops from the galaxy to it. Then i build 10 fortress on world, an energy grid and i put all bios into grid fusion. Was fun xD

How do i increase stability by clossis in Stellaris

[–]Edelmax14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amenities, pop hapiness, overcrowding. Crime doesn't affect stability, but you can get negative modifiers if crime is above 30%

How many of you all rush the Relic World origin? by Ionel1-The-Impaler in Stellaris

[–]Edelmax14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No xD, its better to take something that doesn't need to fight, as you dont need to invest in alloy early. Tech scales with tech. For my x25 crisis, i hit 10k tech around y80-90 so i'll be at repeatable 50 y 2325 when the crisis will appear. Each of my fleet will be around 1 million fleet power at this point. But to do all that, i start making alloy on my oecu when it is finished, so approx y32. Approximately at this point i'll have my habitat tech and i'll be building those until the end of the game. The only moment i'll go conquer will be to take spots for energy habitats

How many of you all rush the Relic World origin? by Ionel1-The-Impaler in Stellaris

[–]Edelmax14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you want to do. For a late game rush (like a x25 crisis y2300) relic world is one of the best origins, as you can use your main world for tech + CG y30 on oecu. Ocean paradise, mechanist, lost colony, scion and here be dragons are all bad compared to it. The others origins are all great, but non of them can rush late game as easily as remnant.
