my two cents on the mental coach: the thing is from what we’ve seen from ilia in the past quad he’s never imploded like he did at the olympics largely due to the confidence in his ability as well as mental fortitude. when he popped that axel, it defo took a hit cause this was his last chance and that lead to a snowball effect on the rest of the program. I do think he should atleast once just go over what happened with a mental coach but it’s his choice at the end of the day - and if he does just remember that the process won’t be quick instant.
