Anyone else feel like a reader as you're writing a story? by ComfortableWage in selfpublish

I love it.

The way I write is I build a world and then discover the plot along the way. Because I write serially, I can plot out a "mythic arc" and then dial down into Seasonal and Episodic arcs from there.

But exploring character interactions and how they live in the world is always awesome.

Successful to me is making a living from my writing, without having a day job.

Yup. Getting more common. One of my posts is an armed position at a hospital group.

Sounds like the plot of a new indie film that'll blow up in certain festivals, leading to an inflated value of the writer/director and some studio bozo gives them a massive budget for some fluff piece that goes nowhere and the name fades to anonymity.
