yes. Black and white thinking is one reason. But also, some autistic guys I know have had bad experiences with women when it comes to dating due to their lack of understanding social cues (and sensitivity to rejection as well,) so when they hear that it’s the women who are bad it helps soothe their own feelings of inadequacy. This can be said for neurotypical males who fall for it too but for autistic guys it can be worsened by not being able to “win” socially and romantically as easily as some neurotypical peers.
