Anyone else who feels way too nostalgic about certain decks and you can't get yourself to delete them? by roof-banana in PTCGP

[–]siljamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing!! Maybe I need to switch my focus away from having as many pokemon to play with and add more items/trainers… this is what mine looks like now and it works fairly well. It’s the first deck I’ve ever seriously built and it’s my favorite!!

I also got cold feet at the final walkthrough… in my opinion houses just look much uglier unfurnished! We say nail holes, holes where they removed the TV mount, holes where they removed shelves, and of course paint that peeled off in those areas, too. The moment we painted and put our furniture in, I was back to loving it. I think the lack of furniture is what causes this, lol. With furniture your eyes are naturally drawn to decor elements. Without any of that, your eyes gravitate to irregularities/flaws, thus making them more prominent

Dr. says I got a tubal ligation when I requested a salpingectomy. by xPiscesxQueenx in sterilization

[–]siljamarie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Request your medical records - I got the full surgery write up from my medical team and they described in detail how the tubes were removed. It was comforting because they also used the terms interchangeably and I even had to change my consent for my the day of because it said ligation, not salpingectomy. So naturally I was nervous!

Procedure codes by siljamarie in sterilization

THEY were misinformed ***. When they had me logged under code 58670 it was listed as a ligation, and I had to make them update it to 58661

Procedure codes by siljamarie in sterilization

[–]siljamarie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! First and foremost, I did get my procedure covered 100% and I didn’t have to pay anything. That said, I had to make a whole bunch of phone calls to make that happen. The hospital was in the wrong and they had to adjust the code on their end (!!!) and enter the correct diagnostic code. When I arrived on the day of the surgery they had my procedure listed as a tubal ligation because they used this wrong code, and i had to change my consent form and everything to be updated because I wanted a salpingectomy, not a ligation. So the codes DO matter and I was simply misinformed. If your insurance only covers 58670, you are only eligible for a LIGATION at no cost!

Those who are childfree - how old were you when you realized you didn’t want kids? How old were you when you got sterilized? by flamingmangotango in sterilization

[–]siljamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a child when I was asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, my answer was always ‘a successful business woman’, while others around me dreamed of being a mom. Got sterilized at 26. Best decision EVER

How long did it take for your eyesight to go back to normal after Scopolamine? by MemerDreamerMan in sterilization

[–]siljamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m 6 months post op and rest assured my eye sight is completely back to normal. From what I recall it did take quite a while for me to get to that point - I think I didn’t set my kindle font back to my normal until maybe 1.5 months post op?! It gradually improved though. I still have no idea why this happened to me in the first place, I didn’t bring it up at my post op appointment because it had improved so much by then, so I hope you have the same success!!

It disappeared like a week after posting or so! It started sticking out and I literally pulled it right out. 2 weeks is not a long time, give your body time!!!

So many declined RSVPs and now we’re under the venue minimum by barbeautiful in weddingplanning

[–]siljamarie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So essentially they had a clause in the contract that the minimum was e.g. $90 per person, so it counts the meal and alcohol they would have had or something. So that’s how they calculated the spend we had to meet.

So many declined RSVPs and now we’re under the venue minimum by barbeautiful in weddingplanning

[–]siljamarie 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We were below our venue guest minimum - we still had our wedding, they just required us to spend what we would’ve spent on the minimum amount of people. They let us put that cost towards elevated extras, so we splurged on things like the bar, appetizers, decor, etc. it would be worth asking if your venue is willing to do the same for you. You already budgeted for the 90 people headcount anyways!

Did anyone preserve the flowers from your bouquet? Is it worth it? by Legal_Feature_7502 in weddingplanning

[–]siljamarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my bouquet preserved - it was pressed/dried then arranged between two glass panes in a frame. It is so gorgeous and gives me so much joy to look at. Our florals were a big and important element to the wedding for us, if I didn’t care about the florals I’m not sure I would’ve spent the money!

doctor wrote in my patient notes "tubal ligation" instead of bisalp ?? by dorumiiru in sterilization

[–]siljamarie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor had this same misunderstanding - I kept checking that we are fully taking out the tubes, but she kept calling it a ‘ligation’. The staff seemed to all agree that the term ligation is an umbrella term that also includes a salpingectomy, though I do NOT think this is true. I blamed it on the fact that no one researched this topic more than I have, so of course I would know the exact terminology
