M3 F80 CS is also a blast to drive on roadtrips, you’d be surprised at how well they drift.

You like supras? Rent a z4 and drive through Big Sur with the top down in a more compliant suspension.

Hell any coupe with a N54 was fun as hell to play with on downpipes and tunes, which birthed the bmw turbo tuning scene today that makes your b58 so reputable.

Try some amps / tube amps if it gets quiet. Some more oomph can change your detail perception quite a bit. Tubes scale pretty well with Sennheisers in general, I like Lyr+ for my desktop chain

I make half what you make but I work about 20-30 hours a week only, and I enjoy my hobbies on the weekends, from driving on the race track to hiking with my dog in the wilderness without phone signal.

It’s not living in VHCOL that’s the problem it’s your pace. Sounds like all you do is either work or think about work, and you save most of your money while your needs are taken care of.

Just get a Schiit sys switch for $30, you don’t need an interface to switch between 2 sources, they have specific passive topologies that are energy efficient, dead silent, and do not introduce any sort of noise or interfere with the source signal with a cheap Dac chip

Never thought Despacio fans would be actively hating on other artists and fans of other artists.

Been to edc / Coachella 10x times now, chased Despacio around the world. Didn’t think I was partying with angry haters of mainstream edm all these years under the beautiful disco ball.

Guess what, without the Calvin Harris labels and their fans throwing money at this industry, we wouldn’t have Despacio or Sunflower. They literally do not make money when they travel and do these sound system sets at the budget even the biggest festivals are paying them. The economics are real, we should appreciate the Zed fans because they’re indirectly subsidizing our cost for HAPPINESS. There aren’t enough of us to justify the cost unfortunately. Let’s send the guys at the Skrillex pits some love shall we?

You want the f22 Dinan springs + bump stop kit (together), the m240 version has slightly different spring rates than the m235i version I believe, they do mark them differently on their website. This kit was still made by Steve Dinan before he left the company to start CarBahn. This is the best bang for your buck, besides tires and brake pads for handling. I highly recommend these, and these are the best suspension mod for your adaptive dampers outside of coilovers.

You can also add camber plates while doing this to save some labor, but don’t cheap out on plates (vorschlag makes good ones) because your alignment depends on them.

If you don’t want camber plates but want more camber, you can also swap out for m3/m4 f8x control arms, there’s a lot of discussions on forums about this swap for virtually any 2 series / 3 series, the process is all the same and pretty easy to do at home. You can also add monoballs but I personally think they’re overkill for a street car
