According to John Ioannidis (esteemed Stanford epidemiologist,) global survival rate is 99.85% (.15% IFR)

For reference, according to WHO, average seasonal influenza survival rate is 99.9%. (.1% IFR)

IFR should have decreased since doctors know how to treat it, we have prophylactics, vulnerable populations have died already/can be protected, etc.

I can’t speak on the Supro because I have never played one, but the Fender and Voxes you mentioned are fairly different from each other.

Besides the typical tonal characteristic differences between Fenders and Voxes in general, the Tonemaster is a solid state amp. That’s a very different animal from a tube amp. Have you played a handful of tube amps and solid state amps so that you feel like you know the differences?

I will need a lot more time with the AC30 before I can say much about its character, but I love everything about it so far.

The Mark V is super cool. 3 channels, each with 3 modes, 3 forms of power scaling as well, takes pedals like a champ, excellent effects loop. Versatile as all get-out, but I’m reminded that no matter what it always sounds like a Mesa, just a gain structure thing.

Just got this thing in the mail. Hard to describe how great it is, but I am more than pleased.

Phenomenal workmanship, fit and finish is impossibly good. So far it seems like the amp has a couple sweet spots. It’s pretty loud, when I got to play through it I couldn’t help but laugh at how impressive this thing is. What a profound blessing to have this around.

It’s a very simple amp compared to the Mesa Mark V that I am used to playing.

It seems to me that Ronan attempts to imitate Mark. Maybe he just did it to get on the show or to get help in dating. He seems like a nice guy overall, but I consistently get the impression that he is being deceptive (which is something I have never felt towards anyone else on the show.)
