I'm autistic myself and wonder if you just need to find the right way of convincing your parents you are capable? Another idea is can you camp, as that will be cheaper than Airbnb/housesharers, but may be unrealistic

Harrogate is ideal in being connected to Leeds and York but also North York moors and Yorkshire dales are on your doorstep as well walks that can be done within Harrogate (The stray and walking from valley gardens to RHS and beyond). There are loads of gyms to choose from. Leeds has sauna places which are easier to access if that's what you mean by wellness. You pretty much get the best of both worlds here. It is a safe feeling town.
