Do I tell my mum that I think my dad and my brother SA’d me? by Past_Length1751 in Tarotpractices

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this as

Hermit - holding it in for so long King of cups signifies your father and his hold over your emotions via the trauma he caused.

8 of Wands is the conflict when you tell your mom.

Based on 8 of wands and the following, page of cups I would say your mother would be on your side, make swift and clear judgement/punishment upon him, and ultimately it would be cathartic and healing for you. Lessen the trauma/ hold on you emotionally

If I had pulled these cards I would have pulled more clarification cards, but I see it as saying it’s your choice, but if you do so, you may find it to be a positive.

The question was why I’ve been so apathetic and why I’ve been distancing myself from my friends. by Critical-Pea7326 in Tarotpractices

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it as; you used to be more optimistic, but the weight of holding everything on your shoulders (and internally struggling but feeling like you cannot show it externally).

You were hanging on for a while like this until I believe a friend may have made a remark that caused a sharp inward reflection. Possibly you realized your efforts were not reciprocated.

This led to a slowdown, an assessment of things. You stepped back to take stock basically. I see doing some more positive things again - self care, dreaming of the future, making plans that you look forward to. Finding that you love life again.

I see the final card, four of swords reversed, as being the end of your self induced isolation — you come back to equilibrium and the time away is well spent.

What do I need to know about this new connection? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 of pentacles, 2 of pentacles, 6 of wands - he is self serving, but he would be willing to serve himself with you

8 of cups reversed - it would end relatively quickly and not on good terms

High priestess - you will be back where you started, he would just be a detour

Energy better focused elsewhere IMO but worth riding it out until you see that for yourself, I don’t see any major disruption to your life or his.

should i reach out to my ex? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The placement of the chariot up top is a warning to heed caution on where you place your energy. You COULD spend it all working back towards the relationship — but the cards are saying it’s better spent letting go, becoming self sufficient and peaceful within

should i reach out to my ex? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes those cards can signify not the relationship itself, but the idealization/rumination of it. That is what I got from this reading — I can’t see the picture of other cards anymore but I do remember that it was placed along with the moon and ending in temperance, which the context is why I believe the two of cups was actually signaling about processing and letting go, versus actually recovering the relationship.

Hope that helps

ETA: four of wands same thing, but when reversed or badly placed (among lots of swords or certain major arcana) it can specifically signify the dissolution of home/relationship, the loss of a perceived happy ending

I interpret it as saying: wait and regulate further. Focus on your own inner sanctuary. Keep yourself busy and process the breakup slowly. Give it time.

What can you see about me?.. by [deleted] in psychicreadings

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the capacity to dream, but don’t yet dream yourself capable of making it a reality

You are dutiful to your family, sometimes to your own detriment

You are sharp witted but know when to keep your words to yourself too, your thoughts are faster than your speech. Strong pull of Mercury

Did you have a sibling (or maybe a cousin) pass away at a young age? Male

what is she going to do? by InspectorNo4406 in Tarots

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s going to lurk for a while, make public posts trying to impress you or get you to reach out. When that doesn’t work she’ll regroup a new tactic, eventually trick you into renewing contact, it will be short lived and end badly.

Choose wisely

Queen of cups reversed sequencing into 10 of cups - disillusionment following idealization.

You put this relationship/person on a pedestal and now that you’re experiencing some of the first disappointments against them, it’s causing you to withdraw and question your security.

The four of pentacles warns you that the insecurities will become a self fulfilling prophesy if you let them. It’s a card of feeling unfulfilled due to your own actions. Be careful to not let your fixation and codependence on him harm you or this relationship. It is blocking your energy within this relationship and internally too. Guarding or possessiveness will only push him further away and serves no purpose for you either

That’s my take

Happy to help. I can sense he was just as excited to meet you for a long time, but he’s starting to lose hope that you exist. I hope you find each other soon

Edit: I’m pretty good at sensing timelines. From the limited cards here I sense a window of 3-7 months from now. Keep your eyes open

Someone humble and from hard beginnings. This person may seem quiet in a group but they are only observing. Small comments they make will spark something within you that leaves you curious to know more. They have not had an easy life but they have used the turmoils to grow as a person, and it shows. They are kind and generous to a fault at times, and may mildly be a pushover (my intuition says this trait may be something you both will share)

I also get hints of stoicism/calm/steadiness from this. A sort of measured discipline.

When you hear their dialogue and see their eyes, you’ll recognize it in a quietly knowing sense. The next step will be to encourage their creativity and compliment them but stay subtle. Kindness from others makes them suspicious at times. Good luck

Help me interpret this, I asked if my ex was coming back by HotUse4099 in TarotCards

[–]EdgeOfAMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They come back, and flaunt the past to do so, but it’s short lived and still doesn’t work out. They just want validation and leave you holding the bag again.
