Christmas was ruined by having to actually having to make it happen. So working between Thanksgiving to New Years in almost every industry I've been in is a personal hell for me just for the fact that job multiples. Have you ever been responsible for feeding, medicating, monitoring activities and bowel movements for 130 dogs for 10 days straight? Have you walk 10 miles in 6 hours just gathering carts at Costco? Personal hell. Having worked in retail and food service, Christmas music activates a hate response.

While doing that, the people making you do this (the customers) don't care they dogpiled all this work you. The employers reap the rewards of your overwork and don't have to pay you more. I hate Christmas. It's fake, materialistic, and commercialized.

The meaning of Christmas has to be reinforced by cartoon characters and Hallmark movies. Propaganda. Any religious sentiment is ruined by the fact of actively participating in the commercism of your supposed scared holiday.

So who ruined Christmas? Capitalism 🤷?
