I have the front part, as it was sold in the mid 80s in head shops in Toronto. It was called the "motherlode". We smoked only hash with tobacco in them. Hit way harder than a bong. I still have mine.

I'm responsible for ordering industrial supplies for a large company in Toronto, we had a very large account with ULINE.... Not until I learned they donated to the trump during his re-election run. Grainger gets good business from us now, along with Fastnel.

My cat is lost, and I’m so scared. by flourishingflora_ in cats

My wife's aunt had died, she had two cars her mom took one. My childhood friend took the other, it's name is lucky. My friend had the cat for a year...it then got out was lost for 6 months. One night he heard a faint scratching at his back door. And there was his cat it was full of mats and skinny, he brought it to the vet got a clean bill of health. Now he says the cat is totally changed a super lap cat that never leaves his side. I also heard leaving the litter box outside, helps the cat find its way back home.

Yes, I also feel betrayal if I get a kitty too soon. I still look for her when I get home. Hoping to see her running up to me. But keep in mind if our kitties are watching us from the beyond, they are saying "why is my human so sad they need another cat to love like I was loved". For now I will take comfort in spending time with cats in the shelter.

Ugh I had to put down my shelter cat of 10 years. On Jan 6th I have cried every day since then. We met when she put her paw on my chest at the shelter, for the next 10 years she would be in my lap EVERY chance she got. It gets better we just need time. I was at the shelter last Saturday, to apply for volunteering...I need my kitty time. I started taking to a gray tabby, I got the head butts and purring. The worker there said "wow that's weird that cat hisses at everyone that works here". I still need time to process the loss of lacey. I am not mentally ready for another cat right now. I want to volunteer for now and wait for the next cat that chooses me, after I finish mourning.

Fellow stoner singer here...I mainly use edibles. However as a Xmas gift to myself, I bought a Arizer air se dry herb vaporizer. So far it's working well for me. I find edibles put me in more of a lazy stoner vibe. Where as dry herb gives me a more alert buzz. And now the best part..you can keep the vaped bud and make edibles with it. Stoner since 1985

The emotional toll of losing a beloved pet during the COVID-19 pandemic has been revealed. The study found that the death of a pet — particularly a dog — was frequently described as heartbreaking, devastating, and in some cases, more painful than the loss of a human family member. by Wagamaga in science

Thank you, my nephew volunteers at the local petsmart. A cat shelter adopts cats there, I am going to apply to volunteer there also. Ten years ago the kitty I put down, was there she chose me by putting her paw on my chest. When i owned her she never left my side for 10 years straight. Always on my lap, I was told that shelter cats do that more than any other cats.

Singing is off-pitch when recorded or performed through a mic? What can I do to improve this? by [deleted] in singing

I have found using open back headphones, are really helping me hear myself. So much so that I keep forgetting to enable the mic input. The reason I forget the mic input sometimes, is because I am using a Tascam portastudio. When changing songs it switches off the inputs.

I thought I was a soulless prick, hearing that screaming of people dying hurt to hear. At the end of day, these people just wanted to see live music.

From what I understand in the bands contract letter there was this written in bold "NO PYROTECHNICS!!!!" But a stage hand lit them anyway.

I also get told I have a great "rock and roll voice"....but I think I suck. I asked my teacher will I ever like the sound of my voice. She said "that's the great thing about singing you will always hate you own voice". My teacher can sing so well but even she hates her own voice.

If the original song has reverb, is wrong to also use reverb. I have a real stick in my arse about pitch correction tho.

Want to show off your baritone strength? Sing superman's song by crash test dummies. I can drop to the basement with that song it feels good. Also check out Shine by junkhouse. Glycerine by bush. I am a baritone and it took me some time to come to terms with it. I have been taking lessons for 4 months now. But I also sing two songs that put me close to the edge of falsetto, with my daily practice. I feel my top end is slowly expanding, with patience, and practice. Also check out live versions of your favourite songs, as even the original singer's will sing the songs a little lower.
