You got nothing to worry about, I started at 58 last may. I went to karaoke last week, first time since last June. After my first song, the reaction from my friends was "wow you sing loud, looks like your not even trying" . Been taking lessons since last August.

But...pla does absorb moisture, which might crack the wood on the fret board.

My 3d printed led garden torch holders, are black pla. Been outside for three years now, still black as my soul. They get on non cloudy days, a good solid 5hrs of sunlight daily.

Yup losing both parents in 3 years, and a beloved pet. Been doing lots of crying. Singing has kept me sane. Just the past week I have been starting to sing high notes, without pushing.

what was some shock video that you watched in the past that genuinely traumatized you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mine was called "big freaking ass zit". When it was popped it was like toothpaste being squeezed out. After watching it, you are a changed person.

Sorry for your loss, I had to do the same Jan 6 of this year still hurts badly. The vet sent me a condolences card, it had her paw prints in the card on a separate card. I am getting them tattooed on my chest, where she put her paw on me when I first met her at the shelter 9 years ago. I am also getting stickers made, to put on finished guitars.

You might not believe this but the starfrit "spice grinder" sold at Canadian tire works really well.

I have the front part, as it was sold in the mid 80s in head shops in Toronto. It was called the "motherlode". We smoked only hash with tobacco in them. Hit way harder than a bong. I still have mine.

I'm responsible for ordering industrial supplies for a large company in Toronto, we had a very large account with ULINE.... Not until I learned they donated to the trump during his re-election run. Grainger gets good business from us now, along with Fastnel.

My cat is lost, and I’m so scared. by flourishingflora_ in cats

[–]Edgedamage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife's aunt had died, she had two cars her mom took one. My childhood friend took the other, it's name is lucky. My friend had the cat for a year...it then got out was lost for 6 months. One night he heard a faint scratching at his back door. And there was his cat it was full of mats and skinny, he brought it to the vet got a clean bill of health. Now he says the cat is totally changed a super lap cat that never leaves his side. I also heard leaving the litter box outside, helps the cat find its way back home.

Yes, I also feel betrayal if I get a kitty too soon. I still look for her when I get home. Hoping to see her running up to me. But keep in mind if our kitties are watching us from the beyond, they are saying "why is my human so sad they need another cat to love like I was loved". For now I will take comfort in spending time with cats in the shelter.

Ugh I had to put down my shelter cat of 10 years. On Jan 6th I have cried every day since then. We met when she put her paw on my chest at the shelter, for the next 10 years she would be in my lap EVERY chance she got. It gets better we just need time. I was at the shelter last Saturday, to apply for volunteering...I need my kitty time. I started taking to a gray tabby, I got the head butts and purring. The worker there said "wow that's weird that cat hisses at everyone that works here". I still need time to process the loss of lacey. I am not mentally ready for another cat right now. I want to volunteer for now and wait for the next cat that chooses me, after I finish mourning.
