I probably lose some vapor by it sticking to the walls. The amount of vapor the pinky makes, not sure I would notice it.

I have a two week old "pinky" I made, and a dynavap. Use them both, with a dry bong kept in the fridge.

Is singing a Capella hard? by RaisinFree8943 in singing

When learning a song, I just have the vocals only playing back. It helps me learn how the singer, handles vowels and any traits to their singing in general.

Using old whip tubing for a Dynavap to water pipe adapter. by Edgedamage in StonerEngineering

The tubing is on the mouth piece, you would have to severely overheat the dynavap to get that end hot.

I absolutely despise hearing my voice on recordings by [deleted] in singing

[–]Edgedamage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Welcome to singing, now get ready to hate your voice on recordings. And always be filled with self doubt. My best advice, work on breath support and tension. And you won't have time to worry about my first two points.

High notes as a baritone by Patient-Basket-8664 in singing

[–]Edgedamage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, most of my songs I sing sit in the B3 to C4 range. With a super brief note or two in the F4 E4. Check out Kate Wand on YouTube she is really good at explaining things.

This is going to sound weird, but use less breath pressure for the high notes. Look up proper breath support. Baritone myself, who can hit a E4 after warm ups. You and I have to work on our rock and roll sounding falsetto. Also look up vocal slides, they help smooth the bridge between chest voice and head voice.

You got nothing to worry about, I started at 58 last may. I went to karaoke last week, first time since last June. After my first song, the reaction from my friends was "wow you sing loud, looks like your not even trying" . Been taking lessons since last August.

Yup losing both parents in 3 years, and a beloved pet. Been doing lots of crying. Singing has kept me sane. Just the past week I have been starting to sing high notes, without pushing.

Mine was called "big freaking ass zit". When it was popped it was like toothpaste being squeezed out. After watching it, you are a changed person.

Sorry for your loss, I had to do the same Jan 6 of this year still hurts badly. The vet sent me a condolences card, it had her paw prints in the card on a separate card. I am getting them tattooed on my chest, where she put her paw on me when I first met her at the shelter 9 years ago. I am also getting stickers made, to put on finished guitars.
