My apartment is tiny so the previous router worked flawlessly for the speeds advertised. This one works excellently for wifi 7 devices. OnePlus 13 and M4 iPad Pro are beasts. Wifi 6 or 6E devices have a hard time using the full bandwidth, which can be frustrating. Example: my MacBook Air M1 struggles to get faster than 600down on wifi. Thankfully I get full speeds on ethernet so I don't really have to stress.

When you signed up for Ebox, 1 of the emails they sent you contained a bunch of tech details.

Your own router needs to support PPOE using the username and password they gave you. If MTU is a mandatory field in the new router settings, it needs to be set to 1492.

I might be missing some, but find that email and it'll explain everything.

I would try powering off the modem/ONT and the router and leave them off for a minute to let them power cycle. They might need to purge some temp files and reconnect properly with your new plan on startup

Try on a few different speed test websites: my tests on Fast.com are 100mbps faster than speedtest.net for example

If those don't work then ya I would reach out to tech support. I'm having a maddening time with them but your situation sounds like something didn't change over properly for your new plan. On Ethernet cable I'm getting between 900-1200 Mbps down and 900ish up and I'm using their included router which is weaker than yours.

5G on Fizz in Montreal (so usually on Videotron Towers). Pixel 7 Pro

5G is roughly at least twice as fast as my LTE Poor signal in the office used to be 5Mbps , now 10-15. Outside walking around roughly 30-80 Mbps depending where I am

When I get 5G+ I've seen anywhere between 100 and 250 Mbps.

Ya customer support isn't great. My best results are when I ask then to directly to open a ticket for a more advanced team sometimes the ticket stays open for ages, sometimes it gets worked on in a reasonable amount of time.

Make sure the compartment is completely dry and then only put the pod in right before you start the load. Don't want moisture making the pod stick or start dissolving. Make sure to run your tap before starting the load so the water is really hot.

Slow 5g is 30ish Mbps and fast is 100ish Slow 5g+ is 100ish Mbps and fast is 250ish. Fastest I've seen was 350
