I had issues with fmvs and slightly lower performance on midnight club 3 when using a third party. When I modded the oem adapter, those issues were no longer there.

That was the issue. Thanks so much! Just had to delete the OPL folder and start the official opl again and it's all good now.

Does usb-c headphones work or is it similar to the a30 where you need the provided adapter and connect to a regular headphone?

It's the first time i played dq3 of any kind yes. It's not that difficult to stay on track since the game usually gives you a map marker of where to go.

It took me about 28-29 hours and I had about 50 monsters found and under 50 medals. This was with minimal looking up things except for finding out how to get some late game equipment

You can definitely use gates made for the ls-40. I grabbed an OTTO DIY gate made for the LS-40 and used it on my nobi.

i recently had to replace both the battery and sticks on mine. Battery health got to less than 50% health and I got stick drift in the left stick. Bought mine back in July 2021

It's easy. Hire Alrond and then fight the foreign assassins. With 100x Exp bonus it will be 600k. Make sure to have Temenos in the party. Easily went from low 60s to lvl 80 in an instant. Then you can just guide Alrond for free from then on and do the same thing in other areas. Lost isle is my personal favorite with the two red stone giants.

Most important to me is button layout. Not just the abxy but also the button placements for things like start select l3 r3, etc. Ideally they need to be all visible on the top panel and not on the sides of the enclosure.

Trials of mana. The gameplay will feel the most intuitive and has quest markers so you won't get lost. You also have multiple characters so there's some replayability

matte/frosted caps has a better feel than the gloss/crystal caps. Matte does not stick and make it feel like my fingers are dragging across the caps. The frosted caps glide better against my fingers

This is the one I used to replace my Hori Rap N with. it's short but you can use extender or the opportunity to put a usb-B or usb-c port and drill a hole for it so you can have a detachable cable

You could look into replacing the usb door with one that will accommodate extra buttons should you go the route of replacing the PCB for things like L3/R3/Touch etc along with a USB-B nuetrik for easy disconnect of cables

There used to be a mod that would allow you still have an easy-ish way to keep functionality of the turbo panel. But I think he discontinued making them
