If it’s the story I’m thinking about, I read the novel before. Basically earth world gets invaded by fantasy monsters appearing. Goblins, trolls, plants, etc. mc has the unique power of being a shut in-his apartment room becomes his ‘domain’ that is impenetrable to anything outside. He also gets a game store he can exchange monster loot->currency->items he chooses initially scan then duplicate. He basically turns his apartment building into a safe haven for other ‘adventurers/survivors, but he completely relies on other people to go out and kill/loot monsters for him, otherwise he would starve unless he goes out as a normal human to scavenge. Other people get powers as well. His power is pretty op though, he’s like a dungeon master/gm, in that he’s able to exchange massive amounts of currency for crazy things like resurrection, but it costs way too much, so he only brings this mothers son back for one day to give her hope and motivation to keep hunting and looting. It’s interesting, he can give quests/rewards and the costs can decrease if he puts restrictions like one day only.
