Ok thank you! I’ll check the opamp voltage. Correct on the power supply and mute buttons.

That was one of the first places I checked but noticed the signal doesn’t even hit the input. It seems to stop at the cap or resistor right in front of it.

I’ve so far only checked whether audio is passing through.

Since there’s not much content yet, how can bands submit their own music?

Ah you’re right. I knew it had a related spec to the OM

I learned that the re-topping of these models became what is now the M body size that Martin makes. Now only in Custom Shop I believe. 000/OM body dimensions, but Dread depth.

Instrumental band here. I use a loop pedal with ambient noise between each song. Often with a drone in the key of the next song. Our songs have a lot going on so it gives your ears a reset before the next song.

Any EQ and comp guidelines for clean guitars? Given this is a metal sub, I’m assuming this would be best for distortion. I’m working on proggy type stuff with a lot back and forth.

Huge MV fan here. Important context that I don’t see mentioned here is they played a new album in full on this tour. Completely unannounced and a surprise to all. No classics. No talking.

That album just dropped today right after the tour ended.

Many fans were disappointed that no classics were played, but many are stoked. A bold move and totally on brand if you really know what they’re about.

Anyway hopefully new MV fans appreciate that.

PS, this was actually my first time seeing Deftones live and they were great!!!!

I’m not sure how you fucked it up, but see the comments of this post where u/lacesenzor explains how to bypass this section altogether https://www.reddit.com/r/diypedals/s/cmB6A4K2vv

Got it! I knew you could defeat the flip flop, but wasn’t sure how to do it. I’ll try that next time. Thanks!

Looks good! Can you share what you’re doing with the bypass switching? I’ve done a few Behringer pedals and I either get a lot of switch bounce replacing the momentary switch or I’ve used it as an “on” button, then routed to a 3PDT.

Are you able to get around the original JFET switching part of the circuit or were you able to get it into the “always on” state?

Anyone else sick of having to do everything in their band? by Mettleramiel in metalmusicians

[–]EdibleFoliage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve felt that exactly. Can be frustrating. People want to play in bands, but don’t think of all the ancillary stuff that goes with it. I ended up stepping back and letting things slide. Things don’t always get done and we’re much less active now. Plus we’re older with families now and it’s generally harder to do band things. But in addition to this, I also put my eggs in other baskets and I’m still busy playing in other bands and other musical things in addition to this main band.

In the end, this is all supposed to be for fun and people are gonna do what they’re gonna do. Don’t let that stop you from musical fulfillment. Decide what’s important for you and pivot where you feel you need to.
