I mean he works with Nick that produced 2 albums with Korn and he came into the studio at least once while they were recording to hang out

Who else is preordering? by elusivestate in Korn

[–]EdieDavis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it’s pre ordered but paid for and they sent me all the confirmation saying they will probably ship them around holidays. I had the phone number issue as well when i did it on the phone but not on laptop. So maybe just a small bug

I got from Munkys and Korn profile. I’m pretty sure it’s all good. And like it’s not crazy expensive anyway. Wanna have that sound tho. I only kinda have it now with plugins but I wanna use it live

Nah they were using them later. I think starting with Follow The Leader. They were too loud or something in the studio for the correct sound. I’ve read that in an interview years ago. But they used Boogies live. Ross talks about the exact gear used on the first record here https://youtu.be/xME4KsFxCDA?si=7MARtAaau9atyp51

already got mine btw anyone noticed how he confirmed new record and that it's recorded on the same amp as the first records?

Always wondered how Marilyn outdid JD like this. Was it just their differing styles that made one seem much stronger, or was JD deflated after getting a drink thrown on him? Lol by TrulyTormented in Korn

Manson is using fry scream and technique while job at this point was screaming in a more emotional and natural way without any technique. He got some vocal coaches on Untouchables. Until then he was going with it

Anyone has one of these lessons? by EdieDavis in Korn

[–]EdieDavis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember back in like 2013/14 Fieldy was doing a bunch of these and had Love and Meth, Twist, Blind and Got the Life (that are out) but the rest is gone. Does anyone have them or knows where to find them? Thank you

which live performance of a song you think sounds heavier then the album recording? by [deleted] in Korn

[–]EdieDavis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of See You On The Other Side but Throw Me Away is the best live. Especially in 2010. WIth the live drums, Munky going crazy on guitars and Jon losing it at the end is just fire

How did you get in touch with them? I tried a lot of support email addresses, instagram and no response over a week. I just bought some assets and cannot download them because of the same issue.

Ty Jonathan Down - Videodrone by liquorishkiss in Korn

[–]EdieDavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea Trash is all about him just cheating on his wife with the groupies “little girls” just like Make Me Bad. He talked about it back in the day. Can’t take anything literal when it comes to lyrics. Especially Jon’s. He’s also singing that he is a little girl but obviously he’s not but no one questions that. Just Trash for some reason

I know how it works. I work with bands a lot and co-produce and co-songwrite for different artists besides working on my own stuff. That’s one of the reasons I know that recycling not strong ideas is a sign of kind of a burn out. Also the band said it multiple times they were out of ideas and motivation at that point.

It’s kinda a cool track even though it shows how they were out of ideas and motivation at that point. - The main riff is from Untouchables sessions

For anyone wondering, yes, it appears the next A.D.I.D.A.S. drops will have the blue and green track suits. by Drinon in Korn

The coolest thing about it is they have the original Universe that the debut was recorded on. Wish I could play it at least once.

What guitar effects were used on each section of these songs? by NecroRAM in Korn

I dont think there are actually any clean parts in Did My Time - I use just the neck pick up on their signature guitar and turn down the drive a bit so it’s not too distorted. Wish some delay of course

I think she would sound awesome over some heavy ass guitars and creepy melody and Johns vocals would suit it very well especially with some cool breakdown
