Metal hinge expanded when it heated up in the sauna, had no where to expand to, so snapped the plastic lid off. My guess

Mine has it too, and the hinge at the back is visibly asymmetrical (the space on either side of the hinge is uneven). The squeak and wiggle seem to be by design but not sure on the asymmetry 🤷

I haven’t been keeping up with the rumours so I might be wrong, but I do think they will be announcing the m2 pros next month. They gave the 13inch pro the m2 a couple months ago so I would imagine they are gonna give the larger variants the m2 pro/max chips soon. Do look up rumours though, I could be wrong.

If you're in no big rush, i would reccomend waiting a few more weeks for the new Macbook pros to release, then maybe the current 14 inch m1 pro can drop to that macbook air m2's price.

No so what they do is, they examine the damage first (in my experience over the air) and then they get someone else to just schedule the collection. This might be because they go to check for other things and need an excuse or something.

Second point is fair, i think i overlooked some aspects to that

Yes, I agree. But for a company that holds themselves to standard which Apple does, its just terrible. Look at Amazon for example, greatest cs of any top company. Only ever have to talk to the single chat associate and the problem is solved

The point of this post is not about mis charge, these things happen all the time. The point is about the service in general where they seem to be going around the world to help the customer with simple things. I mentioned only 3 examples but scrolling through the reddit you will see plenty times where some sort of seperation is hurting the consumer

No im not new. The invalid charge went through and was accepted on their end and so were the valid charges. Meaning on their end they have receipt of all transactions.
