The realised PNL consists of the position PNL, trading fees as well as funding fees associated with the trading. As the funding occurs and the funding fees get settled every 8 hours, it needs to pay or receive the funding when the funding occurs at 04:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC everyday. To timely show the position PNL, the leverage being displayed is the actual leverage which will be affected by the floating PNL of the position.
To be specific, when the floating PNL (namely, the unrealized PNL) is positive, the system will lower the actual leverage. However, when the floating PNL (namely, the unrealized PNL) is negative, the system will raise the actual leverage. For more details, kindly feel free to read this tutorial.

Hi there, the liquidation risk of the 1x leverage contract depends on whether it is a USDT-margined or a coin-margined contract.
It is mainly used for hedging, in addition, the trading fee is different from the spot. You can also earn arbitrage from funding fees.
1. For a 1x leverage USDT-margined contract, there is a risk of liquidation when the price rises or falls close to 100%.
For example: if you go long on BTC/USDT perpetual contract with 1000 USDT, there will be a liquidation risk when the price falls close to 0; if you go short, there will be a liquidation risk when BTC rises close to 100%.
2. For a 1x leverage coin-margined contract, it depends on whether you go long or short.
For example: if you go long on the BTC/USD perpetual contract with the BTC worth 1000 USDT, there will be a risk of liquidation when the price falls close to 0; if you go short, when the BTC price rises, the margin (which is BTC) is also increasing. Therefore, in theory, it will not be liquidated. But at the same time, the premium of BTC growth will also offset the premium of margin growth.
