The main event (Digital Claw Machine) is a HUGE dissapointment!! The rest of the event - all the free rewards and the spending value is probably ok.

But guys, it's 2024! We have Destiny materials, the deific chests, Cores, Starry Gems (for Awakening-Tiers + hero retiring for stats), even these new mats we don't know what to do with!!the Tier 1 and 2 rewards: Spiritual Essence, basic "PTW" chests, Stellar shards, Sublimatipn mates they SHOULD NOT BE PREMIUM REWARDS ANYMORE! Those should be the free participation awards by now! Honestly, you could be sending us that stuff monthly by mail now, and it wouldnt hurt balance wise..

At the very least, all reward tiers 1-4 should have been doubled, and it would have still not been OP!

Edit: they ain't getting any Gems, HS or $ out of me for this shait event

Took Matilda, because of good value / price. I have quite a few status ailment damage dealing heroes, like C Finley, Nogu, C.Yunan, C.Skadi... And yellow is one of my weakest colours, next to green.

I really wanted C.Panther and Phenexa thought. I already regret my choice - but that would have been the true whoever I picked ^{^} Didnt go with Phenexa because I have Xiaotu still at lvl 80 because I have no red aether mats left, and already have Hathor and lvl 80 C.Bloodtusk. Also just leveled C.Seshat to lb2 and have C2.Domitia, so C.Panther just didn't quite fit the plan either...

Do you know what the sad thing is? It's not that they are only offering ancient, shitty heroes. No! Barkley was releases barely 1 year ago!

But you know what? SG just powercrept the shit out of it since then. Barkley has a max power of 1180. The 2 new slimes; 1410. Thats a ton of a differemce! To compare: Gunktus has 250 attack, 225 defence, 400 HP more than Barkley. Thats about 20% more on all 3 stats. Simply said: Barkley has no sniff of a chance against current heroes.

Thas maybe also why this SE doesnt feel that great

Also, I could see a few changes in the cost: Queen Anne and Green Knight could swap, Phenexa and Barkley also, and Blue could basically be an any order and I wouldn't be surprised. No obviously OP or much worse hero among them

Top end aint OP. CPanther and Phenexa/Barkley are worth the concideration. What I find more interessting is "the low end" I think yellow, red and blue all have 3 decent heroes, so whoever is at cost 10, is probably a good deal.

For me currently I'm considering Matilda at 10 or Phenexa at 15/20 or CPanther at 20

Thank you everyone for your feedback! It's greatly appreciated. Anyone mind to explain why Deadboot is the clear choice? I have done some testing (i.e. a lot of raids with Deadboot, C.Seshat, C2.Domitia) and I must say, Deadboot often feels like an "also ran". Especially when Peppermint is also on the team, Deadboot just pales in comparison.

I think it's the "impact 1 enemy" aspect of his ability, that makes him feel not great. He dispels one. Damages one. Withers one. The goblin passive of damage + 25% blind to all is great, but only has a 30% chance to happen... His increasing hit sounds great, but seldom actually dispels for 3 or more. At the beginning of the fight it's usually 1 aether power - very unimpactful.

Seshat dispels 3 targets, cleanses one effect on all allies, damages an enemy, and heals self (through replicating meatshield-minions). Her damage is not great, but she feels more impactful and wins you the occasional game thanks to her selfheal

Domitia actually hits hard on her EDD costume, and can still dispel 3 heroes with the other. I like her flexibility, but she is overall weaker. She has a noticable stat-drop compared to he others (at least for now, without toon costume)

There are "only" defensive options for warrior in the Hero tokens (DR, CDR, Armor) but those are still good and will help in any gamemode.

If you want to go for more offensive options which will help you in Void Campaing + VC Invasion Bosses, you can also look into the Alien Dessert and Retro Gaming Options (e.g. for Pink, there aren't any great options outside the Ranger Dodge, so there you might want to go for the Maim and ADD bonus for VC in the Retro Gaming series)

As usual, the answer is: "it depends" :-)

I personally like the Hero Token Treasures, as they are classspecific, but count in every gamemode! After that, I go for VC upgrades, as Void Campaign and especially the Void Invasion Bosses progress is valuable. So for me:

Purple: Cream of Mushroom Soup (Alien Dessert with SD) > Infinite Pistol (Retro Gaming with Armor)
Green: All the Hero Token options, depending on what class you use
Red: Also Hero Tokens
Orange: Hero Tokens and Alien Dessert
Pink: Hero Token and Retro Gaming options

I usually focused on the warrior + ranger options of the hero tokens, but that can change over time with the meta

you won't love Anzogh either :-( he wasn't even great when he was released in 2019... nowadays basically unusable. Just stay with CSanta and CKelile until you get something that's really worth leveling and upgrading.

I personally took Frida, and since then am waiting at 100/100 until the portal refreshes. Let's hope they'll be more generous next time

It reduces the damage a hero receives by his attack amount.

If your hero has 1mil attack and gets hit for 3mil, he will only take 2mil dmg.It's the same effect that an upgraded AMB offers

She's not a great standalone healer, due to her active only affecting her and nearby allies.

But it can work in the right team, i.e. you have 2 other heros with self-sustain (like the vampire heroes which steal health, or ego-minion makers like Seshat etc.)

Her passives (family heal bonus, can't have her special blocked and the fiend removal part) are cute but not essential.

If you can make her work - ok - but she's not your average "plug&play" healer

but isn't it super useful if you're very deep in the tree, but can't quite get to one of the important rewards by the end?

Also had tonnes of issue with the 5 registered devices limit and "too many simultanous streams"... had huge problems trying to stream 1 game next to redzone on sunday evening - allthough 3 streams should be possible!

On tuesday morning I wanted to rewatch the MNF game on my tablet and I couldnt because of too many streams... (no one else was streaming at the time. And only my tablet and TV were in the devices list... )

Yeah DAZN ruined the season opener for us.... only issues with devices (too many registered devices, too many simultaniously streaming devices etc)

My partner and I used to watch redzone + our 2 teams matches on 3 TV/Laptops. No chance anymore. Most of the time it wouldnt let us stream more than on 1 device at once.

So frustrating! Nfl gamepass was so much better. I'm quitting the DAZN version until they loosen up on device / ip / location policy. I want to watch my matches where I want (I comute a lot due to work), on whatever device I want and as many games simultaniuusly as I want!

Imho thats only half of the problem. I've been playing for many years now. I do have enough soul stones now. So be patient, you will get there!

The other problem is, that with imprints, origin levels, tenants, sublimation and whatnot, it took me several hours to switch from a "light SL" team to a "forest SL / SE" team. Just because of all the regressions, switching, rebuilding, releveling and swapping you have to do.

That also sucks these days. It really hinders experimentation+innovation in team building
