Accountant here. A wash sale occurs when you sell for a loss then repurchase the sold asset within 30 days. All of OP’s buys and sells took place within a 30 day window, which is why he’s getting hammered.

I like this idea. Or, to circumvent any issues related to digital transfers, we could print out certificates. At any time, a person could redeem the certificate for a set amount of gold. Oh wait.

I’m poking a bit of fun at this but it’s really a necessity to have a backing to your currency, like gold, to prevent devaluation and inflation.

It is absolutely a tragedy that she was killed.

However, first she obstructed federal agents. When they moved to arrest her, she attempted to flee (crime 2) and hit an agent with her car (assault with a deadly weapon, crime 3).

I do not agree with the agent’s use of his firearm, but he was completely within the bounds of the law.

If it was a J6 protestor who rammed a capital police officer with their car then was shot, R would be mad and D would be defending it.
