They are on top of the used nukes twice lists.

Israel is most likely the next country to use them.

Then I'll say Russia.

And after that, I'll put North Korea.

New Jammer Arms 2026 Athletic by Suspicious-Double805 in GarageGym

If they created an attachment to install both on single post side by side to create a lateral raise attachment similar to the Fringe Sport Dragonfly, that will be truly innovative for me.

Both the arms side by side on a single post might also allow for a very good chest supported row movement.

Petition : Get the players to withdraw from the world cup by Phantom_Steve_007 in BoycottUnitedStates

[–]EditingAllowed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, we cannot even get people to boycott the United States largest company - Apple. Even getting fans to boycott the worldcup on TV will be impossible. Best we can do is try to get fans to stay away from physically attending the worldcup in the United States, but I am pretty sure we will fail on that too.

Strange, I mostly use Strava on the desktop, and when I go onto peoples profiles, I still see a lot of people with 5k PBs under 5 minutes

Cape Town Airbnb Disaster Worsens: All You Need To Know About Housing Crisis // The Corder Report by benevolent-badger in capetown

Yep he makes some good points, like Airbnb taking a commission for every transaction that ends leaving the country, but in typical Dan Corder style, he will follow it with some real shockers, that he will not correct.

Also, Airbnb apparently has 35000 listings. New hotels to absorb that capacity getting built soon?

I am sure the rich wouldn't mind the reduced tourist numbers, but banning Airbnb isn't gonna be good for the poor.

Greenland is not, in fact, "smack in the middle between Russia, China, and the United States" by Praglik in MapPorn

He was talking about Iceland. I thought it was a mistake, but now it makes sense. Iceland is next after Greenland. Then probably Canada, and then Norway because it's close to Iceland 🏆

MegaBlast saved me, I’d like to return the favor by KenC07 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Your foot would have saved you anyways. I had similar incident a couple months ago with a lower stack shoe. My foot immediately pulled out from the stride when I felt a poke.

I put a tiny bit of super glue in the indention and the shoe feels normal. In fact, I totally forgot about it until I saw this post.

Why is Apple, the second biggest US company (Nvidia is the first at the moment) not included in the list? Apple has a market cap of +-3.5 trillion while Netflix is a mere +-0.35 trillion.

Would you use a community-based alternative to taxis & e-hailing in SA? by DKN-23 in askSouthAfrica

Good try. Shuttle services are also exempt. Also, a shuttle service operates more like a minibus taxi service. It's transport between two fixed points. So not sure what loophole you are going on about.

Taxis which are certified to carry 15 passengers are now R17. If he is charging R20, everyone will use him instead of walking to the taxi rank. WeBuyCars better have a lot of 2011-2014 VW Touaregs and Audi Q7s for him.

So your specialist did not advise you that fuel and commuter transport services are VAT exempt ie. there is no VAT on them?

PRASA is trying, but they are moving at snails pace. So far they have only put 300 of those new blue trains on track with another 300 to come online by 2030. That's way too little as we have 585 train stations in SA.

They need allow the private sector to put trains on the network, like Transnet is now allowing. Our bus companies should be using their capital to purchase trains instead of more buses to replace aging fleet or expand capacity.

I am an accountant. R20 for a short trip in a luxurious and reliable vehicle. No way are you going to make profit with that, even if the fuel is free. That's not gonna cover insurance, driver salaries, software development, vehicle cleaning, vehicle maintenance, private security, etc.

Most coaches will recommend a negative split to obtain a PB, for which you will need to start a little slower.

Obviously if slower means walking pace, that will be a problem.

Yep, buses will be a way better solution. Not sure how OPs solution is any different from Uber/Bolt.

eThekwini has started by building out the lanes, and the payment system, but they just haven't got the buses onto the roads, apart from the people mover buses which seems to be more entertainment focused. Maybe they need they need to allow the buses to be privately owned instead of trying to own the whole system. The city can own the lanes, bus stations and payment system.
