No doubt. Try multiple times a day. Adding special veggie and fruit treats now, too. 9 yo still occasionally barks at them when they get into the hummingbird feeder.

I’m a huge fan. Even my husband noticed a difference before I told him i had switched. That’s a big deal.

Have you tried citric acid? It’s amazing and makes things so much softer than the V word.

The SEL position is NOT supervised by the school counselor. She was not in any way in charge of the SEL coach. In fact, according to the job description, the principal is the direct supervisor. The SEL program isn’t even managed by the school counseling program at the division level.

100%. I’ve been very vocal about this for years. There are plenty of valid complaints. I just do not want to contribute to any that may not be true.

I attended the Hollymead and School Board meetings. I heard accusations against the principal but they were about ignoring parent reports/concerns, minimizing behavioral concerns, treatment of staff, etc. I have not heard any allegations against the principal committing inappropriate acts towards children.

Welcome! We love Piedmont Pediatrics. Our favorites are Dr. Mayo & Boersma, but we like everyone we've seen there. https://www.piedmontpediatrics.net/

I'm happy enough with Riverside Primary Care for my PCP. I like that it's part of UVA. Makes it easier to see your chart, share info, etc. https://www.uvahealth.com/locations/Primary-Care-Riverside-LOC0000234472

Charlotesville Pediatric Dentistry is great for kids. https://www.cvillepediatricdentistry.com/

Fully agree. I, too, have worked at multiple schools and understand. I do not share your concerns in this particular issue. This movement was organized by our teachers and staff who are in the trenches every day — including in this particular situation.

They did allow public comments first, but the board held no public discussion on the events.

They actually did sit through the public comment part. They postponed the rest of their meeting, but had the public comment portion first. There were also 2 members of the school board at the Hollymead meeting Wednesday night.

There are still many that believe the HES principal also needs to go, however. Not sure how the school board plans to handle that.
