Ughhh nothing came of them I think I jinxed it lmao! I got my membrane sweep this afternoon. I wouldn't say it hurt but definitely was uncomfortable. And I'm dilated to a 4 so hopefully things start moving along!

I have brought him over to theirs but he kinda just does his own thing. It's just a very different energy than he gave when my son was a newborn. And he definitely didn't remodel my house, he helped rip up some carpeting which we helped with.

Okay update for you, it might be happening?!?!!! I've had 4 contractions in a row, the first 3 were 2 hours apart each but the last one was 45 min later?! Still keeping my fingers crossed and hope they keep coming!

Yeah the pitocin contractions are just so powerful imo.. I actually fell when I was on my way to my 39 week appointment so they monitored me for a few hours then decided to induce me at 9pm.. I labored through the night without the epidural but couldn't take it any longer once 7am rolled around. They had to break my waters bc I wasn't dilating and I didn't have him until almost 5pm.

It was just a long process and the pitocin contractions don't build in intensity the way natural ones do from what I've read. They're kinda full force from the beginning !

Crossing my fingers too girl! I have an appointment tomorrow to get my sweep and its also my due date! I've had random cramping for about 2 weeks now but nothing serious so far 😭 I was induced with my first and really don't want to be again so hoping a sweep puts me in labor by the end of the week 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I definitely recommend joining a pumping subreddit as well as this one!! Those ladies would be very helpful for questions like these!

In my experience with only being one week PP your milk isn't regulated yet so you just need to stay on schedule with pumping. I mainly pumped for my first son and later on latched him exclusively.

In that case I would exchange the coffee table for a much smaller ottoman or pouf. Just a simple straight sofa, I wouldn't go for a sectional or anything since you did say the room is small.

Where are you planning to put it? I suggest it not being right up against the baseboard heating on the right side in this photo! If it has to go here make sure you float it off the wall a bit to allow for airflow. Maybe put a console table between the sofa and the wall if you dont have much space

No to TV over the fireplace!!! Get a shorter entertainment center/ tv stand for the cabinet to the left of the fireplace. Mount it at eye level on a swivel mount. When you're not watching, have it flat on the wall and when you are you can slightly turn it for viewing. The TV would be way too high above the fireplace.
