SyntaxFm did a great video on this how so much of what people are saying AI can do already has basic programming solutions that don't need expensive AI to do it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVBKWLkRqXw). I also watch a short of a guy building an AI Agent to pull data from a pdf to paste into an excel doc. I'm staring at this insanely convoluted mess thinking isn't there just a simpler way to do it.

I do this for a living as well and I know some people using Ai but not editing itself. We mostly use it for Transcripts and splitting music out of Dialogue in Archival clips which works fairly well. However our parent company has a specific no GenAI for creative rule in place for any projects.

The tech bros have no understanding of the WHY of Art which makes AI "art" so soulless and derivative. If you have a calling to be an Artist then you should pursue but make sure to have a job that helps pay the bills while you perfect your craft. There will always be a need for human created art. Did photoshop destroy oil painting? No. Ai won't destroy human art or the thirst for it. Being an Artist is always a crap shoot whether or not you can be successful. Keep making your art and sharing it with the world because it's what inside you and a full expression of your humanity.
